
Constructed at a cost of S$63 million, the Night Safari was officially opened on 26th May 1994 and occupies 40 hectares (0.4 km2) of secondary rainforest adjacent to the Singapore Zoo and Upper Seletar Reservoir.
The Night Safari currently houses a total of 1,040 animals of 120 species, of which 29% are threatened species.
At Night Safari, as dusk falls, the night is just starting for over 1000 nocturnal animals. You will be able to observe as they rise to frolic, graze and hunt their night away!
At Night Safari, you will be able to traverse 8 geographical regions via 3 interlinked walking trails and tram route to observe the various nocturnal animals from different parts of the world
You will also should not miss the Creatures of the Night Show, where the animal stars demonstrate and amaze you with their predatory and survival instincts.
